DLA Aviation Operations Center – Phase I

The DLA Aviation Operations Center – Phase 1 is a five-story operations facility located on Jefferson Davis Hwy in Richmond, VA. It covers a total of 252,982 square feet and belongs to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at the Defense Logistics Agency. The building has several sections, such as a Command suite, Data Center, Kitchen, Central Utility Plant, Administrative Office areas, and accompanying support areas.

• Over 60,000 manhours needed to fabricate and install all of the mechanical and plumbing systems for the project.
• The mechanical system involved a Geothermal Well and will be used to meet energy conservation requirements of the project.
