- Preconstruction
Providing solutions before your project even begins
New tools and construction alternatives continue to influence our business. Coordination and collaboration tools like BIM and Augmented Reality have changed how we work. Several delivery systems such as Design-Build (D/B), Design-Assist (D/A), and Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) demonstrate our experience.
ColonialWebb can help you select the most efficient system for your project’s needs with an ever-greater focus on energy and conservation. Green buildings, Lean Construction, and energy conservation require more significant preconstruction planning than ever.
Your project deserves careful pre-planning, regardless of its size or scope. Our project team engages early and collaborates to offer design or constructability solutions before the project begins. ColonialWebb will openly share our ideas with you from the earliest stages. Our team will review designs and provide cost/benefit analysis to ensure budget compliance and schedule adherence. We’ll listen and always search for ways to add value to your project.
Collaborating on the initial design
During the initial design process, we’ll work in partnership with you to plan all aspects of your project — whether that means developing a conceptual design narrative, handling a traditional set of design development drawings, or preparing complete construction documents, we’re ready to help you turn your ideas into reality.
As one of the largest service organizations in the region, our focus on lifecycle solutions will help ensure ColonialWebb provides you with a serviceable facility that enhances performance, minimizes downtime, and reduces operating costs.

Apply technology to anticipate problems
We leverage all the latest construction software to anticipate problems earlier than previous construction standards for greater efficiency and accuracy. Our in-house three-dimensional BIM capabilities allow us to address issues before they appear on the job site. We can also bring three-dimensional BIM to the jobsite via our Augmented Reality system to help us layout our work to reflect the model perfectly.
