QTS Richmond is the largest and most connected data center in the area. With access to 21+ network providers and MAREA & BRUSA subsea cables terminating at this facility – it is the predominant interconnection hub in the region – enabling new, efficient, and less congested routes across the globe. QTS contacted ColonialWebb because they needed to expand and create a second “Campus.” Because of an already established and trusted partnership, they knew we could get the job done. This expansion involves the construction of four two-story buildings that are 332K SF. These 36MW Data Center buildings will serve the primary function of data processing for QTS and increase their computing process capacity by 144 MW.
