600 Canal Place

600 Canal Place is a 20-story office tower with a 6-story underground parking garage for Dominion Energy’s 1,000+ employees. The building contains amenity spaces, including a full kitchen and dining area, gym, locker rooms, meeting spaces, and three floors of lobby space to promote collaboration. One floor is a dedicated data center cooled by the primary HVAC system and a dedicated glycol/dry cooler system. The HVAC system is dual-path airflow with underfloor and perimeter supply and overhead return. Chilled water cools the building, and it is heated with electric heat. The main entrance stairs and sidewalks have a hydronic heating snowmelt system embedded in the concrete.
