This week, our Golden Anniversary Giveback spotlight is on our team in Chantilly, which is working with Northern Virginia Family Service (NVFS). The mission of this non-profit is to empower individuals and families to improve their quality of life, and to promote community cooperation and support in responding to family needs. NVFS accomplishes this by providing the essential building blocks for financial, emotional, and physical well-being to empower more than 35,000 individuals in the Northern Virginia community every year.
The Chantilly team is looking forward to volunteering for NVFS by participating in a spring beautification project at the Manassas campus for SERVE – a local homeless shelter that provides food assistance and housing to families in the area. Their work will consist of tasks such as power-washing buildings and sidewalks, cleaning windows, painting, landscaping, shelving books, sorting food, organizing storage, preparing meals, and more. We are proud of our team in Chantilly for lending a helping hand to such an altruistic non-profit that is devoted to creating a stronger and more vibrant community for everyone.
