With growing worldwide concern of infectious diseases, the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia, desired an isolated patient area that would serve the public should an outbreak occur. With only 60 days for completion, we devised a plan and installed an HVAC system that operates totally separate from all other systems in the hospital. In only 58 days, we finished the project and the wing was ready for use.
