The demand from the U.S. Department of Agriculture and customers for high-quality food all begins at the processing plant – a factor we take very seriously, especially since we are consumers as well.
The Nestle plant in Gaffney, South Carolina, is a food processing and packaging facility for Stouffer and Lean Cuisine dinners. Before we started providing mechanical service, Nestle changed its air filters on a regularly scheduled basis.
We recommended the installation of gauges that would indicate when filters were dirty and needed replacement. The new approach reduced the frequency of changes and saved Nestle about $21,000 per year.
