Apprenticeship

Apprenticeship

For qualifying employees at ColonialWebb, our apprenticeship program offers a tremendous opportunity for growth.

ColonialWebb apprentices have advanced to hold significant leadership roles in our company. We’re proud of our program and the people who pursue it. It’s one of the reasons we continue to be a leader and an innovator in our industry.  All of our programs are registered and approved by the Virginia Apprenticeship Council, an agency recognized by the Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training within the U.S. Department of Labor.

About the program

Our four-year apprentice programs combine on-the-job training with classroom instruction at training institutions across the Mid-Atlantic and are offered in the following trades:

  • Mechanical (HVAC)
  • Plumbing
  • Electrical

To be considered for admission into any of our Apprenticeship Programs, you must be employed by us no later than June 1st of any given year.  If you are not yet employed by ColonialWebb and are interested in joining our program, you must first submit an application for employment by visiting one of our local offices.  If hired, you will be given the opportunity to register for the Apprenticeship Program at the next earliest date.
