In fact, ColonialWebb Contractors is one of the leading pipe fabrication facilities on the East Coast and annually fabricates more than 65,000 diameter inches. This equates to more than 11,000 (six inch) pipe welds a year. We also fabricate thousands of pipe supports and hangers. We’re an industry leader.
How we do it
ColonialWebb Contractors’ automated plasma cutting tables, pipe positioners and computerized orbital welders are state-of-the-art. Our welding and cutting equipment along with massive overhead cranes mean we can handle all of your mechanical construction needs both large and small.
Our welders are certified under the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Section IX. We manufacture pipe prefabrications under the strict guidelines of the ASME B31.5 (low temperature refrigeration), ASME B31.3 (process piping), and ASME B31.9 (commercial piping) codes.
By coordinating with ColonialWebb Contractors’ Detailing Department, we can consolidate pumps, piping and components onto one shop fabricated skid and deliver it to a client’s project site as a single unit to be set and connected to their building’s distribution piping.
