Commissioning

Challenge: Most commercial and industrial facilities mechanical systems are working 25-50% less than peak performance.

Need: With advanced systems and controls installed in buildings, facility owners need to ensure their equipment is running the way they were designed to AND using the least amount of energy required. By not running at the intended levels, facility owners are spending excess money through wasted energy.

Solution: Commissioning ensures systems and controls are running at peak performance and efficiently with other building equipment.

What exactly is commissioning?
Commissioning – The process of ensuring systems are designed, installed, functionally tested, and capable of being operated and maintained according to the owners operational needs. This is performed to buildings mechanical systems in new building or after a major renovation of existing facilities.
Retro Commissioning – The same process of commissioning, except it is applied to existing buildings that have never been commissioned or it has been over 5 years since original commissioning.
Re-Commissioning – The same process of commissioning, except applied to building that have been retro commissioned or commissioned within the last 5 years.
