Estimating Team
With 10 sheet metal, plumbing and piping estimators, our estimating team has more than 100 years of combined real-world mechanical estimating experience. By parallel processing estimates, our team at ColonialWebb Contractors is able to accurately and efficiently handle an enormous amount of work in a relatively short time.
Budgeting
Each client’s projects are unique, and as such, we take a custom approach to each situation. ColonialWebb Contractors has a team of sales engineers throughout the Mid-Atlantic to consult with our owner and general contractor clients.
Our sales engineers have a wealth of real-world experience and work to educate and empower our clients with technical information and expertise for their projects. By assisting with project feasibility work as well as detailed conceptual and narrative budgets prior to the initial development drawings, our sales engineers save our clients design time and costs.
Design/Assist
For clients with limited budgets, we offer a unique team approach that involves our client’s engineer during the project’s design phase. ColonialWebb Contractors works with our client’s engineer and architect to ensure design changes are communicated early and with all team members.
We are currently utilizing this team-based approached with several projects including:

Design/Build
For clients with fast track, constrained budget projects and with contractor’s design risk, we offer complete design responsibility services including insurance, documentation and licensing requirements. ColonialWebb Contractors employs a variety of engineering firms to enable us to cater to clients’ specific project needs.
Value Engineering
We also offer Intelligent Design Analysis that taps into our expertise to engage owners and their representatives, bringing projects in on time and under budget. ColonialWebb Contractors’ professionals review applicable information and offer budget and/or scheduling ideas. Clients with restricted budgets who need strategic help and consultation often find this option appealing.
